It's cold season, so we're coming to your rescue with a natural, home-made remedy: the Good Fairy's Natural Anti-Cold, Anti-Cough and Sore-Throat Elixir.
We've even prepared a label to spark children's imaginations, which you can download for free below.
When my sister and I were children, my mother prepared this syrup for us, telling us that our family had the recipe for a long time, and we received it from a good fairy.
So, I took the spoonfulls of the elixir several times a day without complaining about its taste or smell. And this (in addition to the medicine prescribed by the doctor) really helped us with the sore throat and the hoarseness.
Now I'm going to share the recipe with you so that another generation of children can benefit from its effects.
The Fairy Elixir Recipe: How to Make the Natural Anti-Cold Remedy
1 medium onion (whole, with skin on)
bake in the oven, on medium-high heat, until it becomes soft;
remove the peel and add to the blender together with
2 large spoons of honey (more or less to taste)
and strain through a fine mesh sieve (or cheesecloth).
Store in a bottle at room temperature, for one week at most.
Take 1-2 teaspoons as needed, for a cold, anti-cough or for a sore throat.
This is a natural remedy, it is not a medicine!
