You can turn writing letters to Santa into a real event with lots of kids, lots of crayons, cookies and hot chocolate.
Each child will make a beautiful drawing for Santa and write in the letter what they want for Christmas (helped by an adult, if they are too young).
We propose the Rule of Three Gifts: Something They Need, Something They Really Want, Something to Read. At the same time, it's nice that during this period they also think of others, so in the letter they can also ask for something for someone else. We also like the rule that every time they get a toy, they give one of the old toys to poor kids.
