Valentine's Freebie: Honeycomb Heart

How to Make the Honeycomb Heart ( Valentine's Day Freebie)ā™„ļø


You will receive a .pdf document with an A4/Letter size heart-shaped template to print and cut out, which will look like this:

The first page is in English, and the second in Romanian. Print the desired page on your printer, then follow the instructions.


You will need: thick paper or cardboard in the desired colors, scissors, glue, string for hanging


  1. Cut out the Heart along the outline.

    Fold along the dotted lines.

    Use the heart as a template to cut 12 hearts out of colored paper.

    Fold each heart in half.


  2. Glue the heart halves on the horizontal center line (left half to right half) on all 12 hearts.


  3. Place the glued hearts back to back, like a book.

    Then glue the top and bottom parts (those marked in dark gray) to the next heart, (right half of the first heart to the left half of the second).

    Repeat with all the heart halves.


  4. Glue the loop of ribbon (or thread)

    in the center of the heart to act as a hanger.


  5. Glue the first half to the last half

    (like gluing the front cover of a book to the back)

    thus unfolding the pattern into its final shape.


  6. Your heart is ready to hang as a decoration.

    Use the heart template

    to create more of these hearts and decorate your home for Valentine's Day!
